Plot Request Introduce your new character to other members and start formulating plot ideas! You're also encouraged to seek out anyone who interests you and plot out an interaction.
Grab a Plot At a loss for interaction or in need of ideas? Snatch something up from a variety of preconceived setups, and play out random plots with characters you'd never usually put together.
Bulletin Board In front of the Great Hall is a massive bulletin board, where all the news of the day can be seen. Faculty and students alike can pin up public announcements, including quidditch tryouts, club meetings, gossiping graffiti.
Below Ground Floor Below the ground floor of Hogwarts is a labyrinth of winding corridors, flickering shadows, and subterranean cold. Not a good place to get lost.
First Floor The bulk of this floor is dominated by the Hospital Wing, which almost never sees the end of mishaps and "accidents," and a number of classrooms.
Second, third, and fourth floors The shifting staircases and narrow passages of Hogwarts aren't obstacles enough for those who need to sneak into class or check out a book.
Fifth, sixth, and seventh floors The main attraction is of course the lavish swimming pool on the fifth floor (basically the best perk for prefects). Also located here is the Room of Requirement.
Grounds The grounds of Hogwarts are expansive, and many students lay out on the lawn to relax or study. The Forbidden Forest and the Black Lake are also open to exploration, though surprisingly few take the opportunity.
Hogsmeade Located northwest of the castle, Hogsmeade is a picturesque little village of thatched cottages and shops. It is frequently visited by eager students during the weekend.

Pan joined Catalyst on Jan 1st 2013, and since then she has been a wonderful addition to the site -- her characterisation of Tessa is unique, funny, and undeniably human, and she brings something fresh to every thread she turns up in. As a member, she contributes regularly -- even with a broken wrist! Her part in the IC unity of Ravenclaw house is undeniable, and she created the fabulous Adventuring Club, which everyone should join!
